DIONNE YVETTE BROWN is a free spirit, emancipated believer, and recovering churchoholic. This is her debut book, which is part memoir, part manifesto on the organized church. She is an alum of the University of Maryland, Duke University, and the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Dionne is a native of Washington, D.C. where she currently resides with her Chihuahua, Phoebe Tyler.
